To be eligible for the ILMEA All-State Student Programs, students must have participated in the ILMEA District Festivals. This includes students who performed in ensembles, applied for and were accepted into the Future Music Educators Seminar, or both. The selection process is based on a combination of factors, including the student’s performance in the festival, their participation in the seminar, and their overall commitment to music education. Several students who have been selected into the ILMEA All-State Student Programs have gone on to achieve great success in their music careers.
The District 207 music program is comprised of 5 schools: 4 elementary schools and 1 high school. The 15 students will represent District 207 in the ILMEA All-State Student Programs, which will take place in February 2025.
